Our FirmMORGAN WILSHIRE BUSINESS PLAN Morgan Wilshire Securities, Inc. (“MWSI”), is a Broker-Dealer established in August 1998. MWSI is located in Garden City, New York and is a member of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Inc. (FINRA), SIPC and MSRB. We have entered into a clearing relationship with National Financial Services (NFS), a division of Fidelity Investments. NFS clears and carries the accounts of our customers. MWSI is a fully disclosed Broker-Dealer, servicing over 4000 clients. As a Firm, we look for special investment opportunities for our clients, primarily in securities trade on the New York Stock Exchange and NASDAQ market. MWSI will effect transactions in exchange-listed securities, over-the-counter equities (NASDAQ-NMS and NASDAQ-Small Cap Securities). MWSI seek to identify successful equity opportunities for its high net worth clients and their businesses. In fact MWSI is highly selective about whom it accepts as its clients. Generally, each of our clients has an annual income in excess of $100,000, a net worth of at least $500,000 (exclusive of their homes) and existing investments in securities of at least $100,000. Our goal is to deal exclusively with knowledgeable investors who understand the financial markets, the rewards to be gained and the risks attendant to such decisions. MWSI searches the market for timely single equity special situations. These special situations are not limited to any particular industry rather we examine many different industries to find interesting investment opportunities. MWSI does not limit itself to securities traded on one market, although many of the securities we do follow trade on a national securities exchange, (e.g., the New York Stock Exchange, Inc.,) we also attempt to identify, track and, as appropriate, recommend investments in certain NASDAQ traded Securities. The Firm has invested in advanced computer systems and software to assist its principals and registered representatives to ferret out important financial data about particular industries and companies. Additionally, the Firm utilizes and obtains secondary analysis and continuous updates from our Clearing Firm NFS, major research publications such as Value Line, Standard & Poor’s and Moody’s. MWSI often goes one-step further identifying promising investment opportunities. It is not uncommon for MWSI principals to speak with industry analysts as well as communicate with a subject company’s investment relations department. Moreover, MWSI, through the relationships its principals have developed with other Wall Street firm’s stays in touch with what is going on in the market in general, and at other brokerage firms. The Firm, through the utilization of these resources, attempts to identify opportune entrance and exit points for those securities it follows. We generally recommend and follow securities traded on the New York Stock Exchange and on NASDAQ’s National Market System, on occasion, our clients may choose to invest in securities traded on NASDAQ’s Small Capital Market System and or to use a “Short Sale” strategy. These types of securities and investment strategy are appropriate for risk tolerant investors. |
